Salary to Hourly Calculator
Whether you are comparing job offers, negotiating a raise, or switching from salary to contracting, this calculator converts your pay between any frequency - annual, monthly, weekly, daily or hourly - instantly.
How to calculate your salary
Enter your pay amount and how often you receive it. The calculator annualises it using your working hours and days, then divides back down into each pay period.
Annual = Amount x Hours/day x Days/week x 52 | Hourly = Annual / (Hours/day x Days/week x 52)Frequently asked questions
Does this account for taxes?
No - these are gross (pre-tax) figures. Your take-home pay depends on your tax bracket, deductions and country. Use a local tax calculator to estimate net pay.
How many working weeks in a year?
This calculator uses 52 weeks. Some payroll calculations use 52.18 weeks; the difference is small. If your employer uses a different convention, adjust the days-per-week field.
